4. Make things brighter

Failing that, anything else you can do to help let the light in: open those blinds, trim back those tree branches, sit closer to windows.

Exercising under bright lights can improve mental health, social function and depressive symptoms. It’s about moving, being active and, when possible, doing it in bright, cheery conditions.
2. Get Outside
A lot of times, being outside in the cold Canadian elements is the last thing you want to do, but, it’s important! Go for a walk, play shinny, go snowboarding. Get out of the stuffy house and be outside. It can improve focus, reduce symptoms of SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) and lower stress. Besides, you’re Canadian! It’s a part of you!
